The Museum in Progress

The CMHR will be one of the most innovative buildings in Canadian architecture and its construction spanned three years commencing in the spring of 2009. The base building has been substantially complete since the end of 2012 and the official opening of the Museum will take place in September 2014.

Our two webcams will allow you to watch the progress of the construction from the South and West sides. You can also access an archive of images, time lapse videos and preset views.

The construction site is bordered by trees. Several concrete structures are appearing in the middle of the construction site. In the foreground there is a street and in the background we see the cable structure of the Provencher bridge as well as office buildings in Saint-Boniface, a Winnipeg suburb.
